About us

Our Mission Statement.

Based in the southeast of England, we are primarily an historic metal window restoration company. Our metal window restorations have been inspected and approved by English Heritage and we regularly work on Grade I and II listed buildings. We restore all types of historic metal windows and restore windows from the 16th century onwards, including wrought iron, cast iron, cast steel, hot rolled steel and aluminium section windows such as QUICKTHO. We also manufacture new replica metal windows to exactly match existing historic windows when required. Another part of our business is the restoration of stained-glass windows and leaded lights, whilst we also replace lead cames and manufacture new stained-glass windows and leaded lights to perfectly match existing windows, again where required.

Commercially we cover the whole of Great Britain and work with tier one construction companies such as Morgan Sindall, Wilmott Dixon and MACE on large commercial projects. We look after many well-known institutions such as Marlborough College, St Hilda’s College Oxford, Brighton College and we have staff letters from Buckingham Palace where members of our welding team worked on the palace. Domestically we only cover the south of England, London and the home counties. We specialize in the low temperature welding processes that historic metal windows require, and are one of the only companies in the UK who can low temperature weld and restore historic windows of all metals.
